Great animation!! A little depressing of a story, but I liked it. I saw the SA flag and store at the start and got a little exited that it was gonna be set in my home country, which I don't see very often, turns out it was just in Sioux City, for some reason (You can see on the airport sign). Also a lot of homeless people pull a similar trick here, but it's a bit more morbid because they actually chop a limb, rather than just hiding it :((

Thank you so much for the commnet! So the reason there is an SA flag in it, is because a friend was making a short film set in South Africa at the same time. There are a few references to friend's animated shorts dotted throughout my own film, as a nod to their work. Funnily enough, my dad is actually from Durban!

This is so cool I love it! I feel so uneasy and uncomfortable and I'm all fucking for that! Kinda like watching original South Park. It's got that surreal aspect. My older sister and her friend tried to convince me and my friend when I was like 10 that girls ate their tampons when they where done with them so... yk... kinda got me thinking of that lil' tit-bit of my childhood.
