THE PICKLE COLLAB!!!!

Are you yearning to draw shitty art of cucumbers fermented in vinegar for long periods in time? Then this is the collab for you! All you have to do is draw or animate a pickle!! Simply dm me the file, and you're good!! I know you can't dm animations, but if you can make one you can figure something out. Animations will be hugely appreciated with a special thank, and a dm you won't forget 👀 (/j, or maybe not...)

The collab will be posted as a movie, with the drawings faded in and out, accompanied by Satie Gymnopédie No. 1 performed by yours truly. Plus an animation at the end so no-one gets pissy there's non (unless you submit one pretty please ;-;)

Rules:

1. NO A!! Subs must be E through M, but don't be afraid to be a little weird, just keep it P-bot friendly ;)
2. Images and animations must be 4:3 aspect-ratio, NOT WIDESCREEN!!
3. Resolution must be 1440:1080px.
4. Images must be jpg/jpeg, animations must be MP4.
5. All skill levels are welcome. If your submission fits the brief, it will be accepted, regardless of art quality.
6. Please only submit your art/animation to the portal/your pf once the collab has been released.
7. Deadline for submissions is 29th May.

So I've made a few changes to my profile. First is just aesthetic wise. New banner new pfp. I'm gonna start uploading to Twitter (against my better judgement) and also I'm starting a web comic :DD New comic every Sunday, you can follow me on Webtoon but you're better off just seeing them here.

Funny to post this just a few days after the last, but I've been unscouted :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Basically I posted that one weird ass Micky Mouse thing, and when I woke up the next day it was updated to A. I've kind of tried my best to stick to "R rated", in the sense that there's some adult stuff, but none of it's pornography. I guess I should have seen it coming, but then I decided to change it back to M. Now I was uploading my submission for the [Adult Swim] collab, and I saw the little note thing on the top left saying I wasn't scouted.

I can't take part in the collab if I'm no longer scouted :(( Very, very annoyingly, I don't think there's a way to see who scouted you, so if whoever did or whoever unscouted me is reading, please give me a second chance! It was one mistake and I didn't even realise that was a rule! I'm really sorry. It won't happen again!

I while ago I got banned from the BBS for 6 months and I decided to just suck it up and take it. Then a bit ago I checked up on the ban report to see how much longer there was exactly, and it turns out the 6 month ban was increased to a "terminal" (10 year) ban. This was justified in the report with "Repeated violations for child sexual abuse, homophobic and racist comments". If anyone from the BBS is reading, especially the supporter forum, did I ever come across as this? Did you ever feel uncomfortable from my explicit, outright racist and homophobic, genuine comments? I would hope the answer is no, and given the connections I made on the supporter forum I would assume the answer's no.

I joined NG because it's stance on anti-censorship, and it's reminiscence to the early internet. An internet where you posted just because it was fun, and where you didn't have to walk on eggshells every-time you said anything, an internet I'm unfortunately too young to have really experienced. If the BBS doesn't ahold to this, then maybe it's not worth being part of the NG community at all :(

Sorry for getting so fr for a bit. I'm working on a South Park animation for the sketch collab, and an original comic for the competition with an idea I've been working on for a while, so hopefully I can get that done in time :) Slàinte!

I know - understandably - no-one reads these posts, but I have to get this out there. I read an article last night (I lied it was 1 in the morning) that Stellenbosch University, one the most Afrikaans unies in South Africa, has banned the colloquial speaking of Afrikaans on campus. I always thought that maybe one day Afrikaans would be banned, but now that is a reality coming closer and closer over the horizon.

I only know in detail one instance of a language being banned and that's when after the Jacobite Rebellions, the "UK" (cough cough England) banned the speaking of Scottish Gaelic, and I can't sit and watch the people I interact with daily suffer the same way my ancestors did.

I'm not Afrikaans, and I know the history of Afrikaners is by no means peachy and rosy, but you can't let the actions of the past taint the view of the present. #DON'TKILLAFRIKAANS
