I said this in another review for a sub I really hope this collab gets blamed. This vid itself is fine. I just want that collab to be blamed.

I genuinely hope that collab gets blamed. I don't feel like writing a proper review sry
That's our goal.
This exact storyline is like a life line for 90s and 2000s sitcoms lol. If they where ever out of ideas for the week they just did this.
I get it's a trailer, but there is very little animation. That's fine. Like I said it's just a trailer, but more over, the VA.... umm. I find it a little,, cringe. Idk. It's just really corny. That's prolly the point but I won't lie it gets a bit tough XD
Anyway lookin forward to the collab I'm sure it'll be cool.
Oh my.
I still got my old ps3. That shit was gas.
Awesome collab!! Some really classic stuff, or imitation there-of. Since I'd rather do anything than study for exams rn, here's my comments on every single one:

Hm. Umm... It's very classic. Like 2000s animation, which I really love. The rotoscope kissing.. Ummm. @_@
I'm joking I love rotoscope it gives a very weird but unique vibe. I truly think rotoscope was invented to animate people kissing. Like it just works perfectly for that. I really want to see the video it was rotoscoped to lol.

I think KokoroHatsaru has made a few castle crashers 80s anime kinda stuff, and it's cool. I don't personally like anime, but I love the imitation of pass styles. The colours, VHS, ect.. It's all really cool, and I can only imagine challenging.
Music's good as well. Dunno if it's original, probs not, but thought I throw that it. VA as well.

Wow. I love this lol. The aspect is a stylistic choice, but it's a stylistic choice that I use and will always love. It's always amazing. This is like a real 2000s stuff. Super random. 'Art is relatively simple, but that's really just a result of the style. It's good. Good vibe.
Intro was pretty funny. And then just the random weird ass image with the red circle lol.

Kinda funny. Not a huge amount of actual animation, but I like the story. And premise. The idea that a tool box would paint with a paint brush is like if humans painted with with our brain. Or at least a part of it. Idk lol :p
A bit short. I did like the divergence of expectation. My main complaint is that is was mostly live images, rather than animation. Also could be a bit more styalised, but I like the story, and visually nice.

Ok. Simoes. I know you a bit better, and I will say that this was a bit eh. It is stick figure, which in of itself is low effort, but there isn't really any movement. Only really a few frames, and a short instance of lip sync, which is unfortunate, because you're lipsync is (comparatively), really good!
The joke was eh. Not a big deal, but I would really recommend trying to explore into more high effort artstyle.

Wow. Lot's of movement! Very impressive animation and the colours are beautiful! The transition there-of was really impressive at about 2:32. The line art has a really nice style to it.
There's really not much to say the technique is super advanced! Given this is about Behemoth Games, the art style is very late 2010s to present. Which is fine. But I'm missing that early internet style the inspiration calls for.

This one's probably my favourite. It's one of those cases where even though the art and animation technique is fairly average, the style is just, amazing. I may just be nostalgic to a time when I had not yet gained full consciousness, but this kind of animation will always be very special to me.
This animation is also long. Dayum.

*NUMBER EIGHT*
This one is by far the longest. Technique-wise it's very good, but maybe a bit long? That's not it. It just doesn't strike me too much. Of course it is a very good animation. Lots of movement. Simultaneous movement. It's got lots of stuff.
Colours are beautiful. Walk cycles are good. Music's ok. There's not much bad that can be said, other than it just really hit with me style wise. Like number 4, it just doesn't really have too unique or striking a style.

Ms Pasteurisation nice job this is good. I really wanted to add the names of the creators for each review, but the credits aren't in order fsr, or at least as far as I can tell. Maybe you should have put the name of the creator in the corner of each clip. Idk. Or add proper chronological credits in the desc. that would have been nice.
I've been quite strict with the ratings. Don't take a 7 as low praise because it's not!
I'm gonna be honest, I've not played either. But I do like the really classic internet vibe this collab has. I've been meaning to play Castle Crashers for a while now. Good job everyone! I now have no excuse not to study..
That was the first animation you didn't like so much. Don't take the joke too seriously, but I guarantee I'll make better animations.
Hiiii, thanks for the feedback :D, responding to the music part, yeah, this is the first original track on CC OVAs I included, I'm not that really good at composing songs, but this one surprisingly worked, I actually posted it here months ago before animating the attack sequence, here it is :]

Hiii, thanks for writing ur opinions abt every piece. Answering to you, yeah, I know mine is the second longest, its my first animation (that isnt a gif or a FnF sprite sheet) and could'nt find a good resolution to the history so It doesnt hit as hard as I wanted, its just that 1 minute wasnt enough time for the direction I tried to follow there xp
It is just a loop, but the art style is fairly substantial, and there is some variation later on in the colour. I like it, but maybe could have been opted out. Maybe not. idk. It's good tho!
I really like this. It reminds me ALOT of I Can't Sleep, but it's got it's own flare to it. I like the use of low resolution. It's like ms paint. It's not really low resolution, but the brush is simple individual pixels rather than how most digital art is stroked with gradient brushes. It's kinda like half way between pixel art and smooth-stroke art. The pure black and white is really interested, and then blue and white is quite clever for darker scenes.
The way the video gets distorted to end is done quite well. In a more subtle way then some analog horror tends to do. I will say that the "wake up" bit is a bit overdone in the genre. Good sound design as well, which seems a bit counter intuitive, but it's in the right place on the spectrum of no sound, to alot of sound, which aids the style well.
Overall nice. It's got good style. Some clever techniques. I do think it loans abit TOO much from I Can't Sleep. Maybe some uniqueness can be garnered there. But it's good :}}
Lol cute. A little short, but nice art style, and some solid, fairly fluid, movement. I liked the sound design, except for maybe the meow at the end. I think there where better options.
I wish cat girls where real :'(
Love the early internet vibe. It's pretty cool. There's lots of different art styles in this piece which work together nicely. It doesn't quite strike with me well enough for 5, but I like the vibe quite a bit :))
I do stuff :)
